As regular blog reader will know I was nominated, then long listed and finally short listed into the
TOP TEN for the Dorset Business Mum of the Year. Voting took place for a week and it was a tiresome, exhausting and stressful time campaigning and I'm so glad it's over.
And after a few days working hard and getting used to the idea myself I am happy to announce that I am through to the final 3. The
Daily Echo ran the story on Tuesday and this is what they had to say ......
Ten thousand votes were cast for the Daily Echo backed Business Mother of the Year Award.
During a one-week period readers voted for their favourite business mum through the Daily Echo website and out of a long list of 20, three mums came out on top: Veronica Strongman from Bournecoast, the self-catering holiday specialist in Bournemouth, Amanda Jenner from My Carry Potty, who makes the children’s pot that can be carried and Joanna Dewberry from Charlie Moos, the party bags and gift specialist at Three Legged Cross.
The winner will be announced at the gala dinner at Langtry Manor at 6.45pm on Thursday May 13, which will be attended by the mayor of Bourne-mouth, Cllr Beryl Baxter.
So wish me luck!!
