It started with socks and socks I can cope with, but Megan has quickly progressed from my model daughter to ensuring that everyone is under no illusions she dresses herself. (Well I hope for my sake they don't think I do!) She has been known on a daily basis to wear nothing but socks and a pair of fairy wings (to save Megan from blushes in later adult life I have not posted these pics!)

Example one - 

Please ignore the randomness of Charlie Moo next to her. Recently we went to a Hog Roast (twas lush) at David's bosses house.

Megan decided that this was the appropriate occasion to wear her party dress, complete with sash round the waist and petticoat, she teamed it up with a stonewash denim jacket and knee high yellow and pink Peppa Pig socks.

So I ask you Funky Girl or Fashion Victim? 

Example Two - 

Today we took Moo & Megan out to 'meet' Peppa Pig. Today's outfit would have been OK had it not been 19 degrees outside! She wore a denim pinafore dress, hooded long sleeved yellow t-shirt, pink wellies ... yes pink WELLIES!!

So I ask again Funky Girl or Fashion Victim??

With Megan's new found love of fashion has come the dreaded shopping trips where I prise awful items from her vice like grip as she screams as if being murdered ... oh the joys of motherhood.  I was grateful when she turned two at the beginning of August and she was sent loads of clothes, sadly she has taken a disliking for half of them.  So when a parcel arrived for her the other day I prayed she would like it .... I let her open it and to my joy she squealed with delight and ripped off her clothes immediately to pop on the beautiful skirt.

A bright yellow patterned KiteKid Skirt from Funky Girl Retro Boy and it is stunning. Megan just loves it and wants to wear it everyday .. and who wouldn't it is made form the most gorgeous organic cotton. Super stylish and super comfy (wish there were mummy sizes).  My question now is does Megan deserve the title 'Funky Girl'??

Here Megan is wearing her Funky Girl skirt .. which she has teamed in classic Megan stylie with pink wellies, blue t-shirt and her pink 'In the Night Garden' raincoat ... yes it is August!
