The Small Details | Trinca-Ferro Review

Daddy Moo and I have quite eclectic styles. We love modern fresh clean lines, but we also love shelves stacked to the rafters with treasures and country cottage vintage shabby chic to throw in. We are probably an interior designers nightmare!

"Stuff" is filling up the living room!!! #moving

I love our shabby chic TV unit we bought from Molly's Den but something about it just didn't sit right – the knobs. It had 5 bare pine knobs on and they just looked like the designer couldn't decide what to do so put them on. I mean they weren't even painted the same colour as the piece. So when Trinca- Ferro offered us 6 ceramic knobs to spruce up a piece of furniture we jumped at the chance.

 trinca ferro

There is a huge range on the website and we just couldn't decide on a theme. I liked the vintage butterflies and bird designs, Daddy Moo liked the letters and Charlie liked the clock faces. Did I mention we are indecisive lot! In the end I just picked 6 designs I liked and crossed my fingers they would look nice together!

Delivery was really fast and Trinca-Ferro charge a flat rate of £4.99 unless you order 15 or more then it's free. The knobs come in categorises vintage, ceramic, glass and acrylic and prices range from £2.30 - £4.20. Our cabinet had small nail holes in so Daddy Moo did need to drill through to fit the ceramic knobs on which literally took minutes. They look amazing on and make such a difference to the look of the cabinet. It definitely has that eclectic Dewberry/Giltrow look about it!

 girls wardrobe

We only needed 5 for the cabinet meaning I had one left over. The girls have a lovely pine 3 door wardrobe which believe it or not we snapped up for £50 from our local tip, when we were taking rubbish bags down during the move. It fitted perfectly in the alcove that probably once homed a built in wardrobe. Some of the knobs were missing and I keep meaning to replace them. Now I have one Trinca-Ferro ceramic knob in place I am definitely looking to add more! I didn't need to drill the holes for this they fit in nicely. It's surprising how something so small and simple can make such a big impact on the look and feel of a piece of furniture.

This competition is for 6 ceramic knobs of the winners choice.

Open to UK residents only. Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative. Winners will be drawn at random from correct entries Invalid or incorrect entries will be removed. The winner will be drawn within 72 hours of the competition ending and notified via email. Joanne Dewberry & Charlie Moo's decision is final.

I adore these ceramic door knobs. I am about to buy a really soulless house with horrid ultra modern door handles. I'd use these to add character and sould to give the house a feeling of home.
