This month's Bostik Craft box theme is weather. I had an idea to make some weather themed bunting but Megan unfortunately was to busy to help this month as she is writing a story for Blue Peter' Dream Big Competition. Luckily Olive jumped at the chance to get all gluey and creative with the contents (yup even those with peel back stickers had a layer of glue applied!). I pretty much knew that Olive wouldn't be up for me getting involved so I set up a collage activity for her.
What I provided :
Large A3 sheet of white paper
Weather foam stickers (clouds, suns, lightening, snowflakes)
Free colouring in sheet of the 4 seasons
Bostik glue and scissors
Tiny snowflake beads
Melissa and Doug jumbo triangle crayons from our Make & Moo range.
- Glitter paper
I love that Olive coloured the tree in green and then added red circles as apples. She made a fab collage and chatted about various weathers and seasons. Which is quite timely given that these last few weeks the UK has experienced a years worth of weather varieties in a month!
Olive took her creation to school to show her teacher.
Again not a proper “How to” tutorial but I do feel like the best crafts are those that come from the children.
