'Moo' cycling

As much as possible the Dewberry/Giltrow household try to recycle.  I reuse all my jiffy bags, packaging etc.. and those that I don't go into our recycling bin. I wrapped most of the children's Christmas presents in Thomas the Tank Engine Magazines! I do my bit!

I have always thought it very important to send out 'Thank you' cards from the children, even when they were newborns I still made cards using their footprints.  Therefore I always save my cards I cut the front page off and the message in the middle (i.e Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas etc..) and pop them into a box for Charlie to chop up and utilise.  The bits I don't save go straight into my recycling bin.  However I saw this the otherday and thought I'd share with you ....

If you really want to get rid of them, take them to one of these local stores The Woodland Trust runs a card recycling scheme via WH Smith, Tesco, TK Maxx and Marks & Spencer stores. Between the 2nd and 31st January you can take your cards and tags (as long as they don't have any un-recyclable bits on them) to recycling bins at these stores and the Woodland Trust will use the contents to create much needed UK woodland.
