Spooky Seas | Weymouth Sealife Centre

spooky seas

We haven't been to Weymouth Sealife Centre in a while and given that the girls have an extra week off for half term (yeah cheers for that!) it seemed like the perfect destination for a girlie day out. Wearing our matching skeleton tops, which Olive and Megan accessorie with witches hats (which I CARRIED around the park ALL DAY!) we got to meet Zelda, in the Enchanted Cabin. The Enchanted Cabin is set among the Wetlands you can't miss the pumpkins piled up outside. Inside is a much creeper scene, filled with jars, spiders, skulls and cauldron. Zelda's sister is unwell and needs our help creating a potion to make her better.

There is a small extra charge (£3 pp) which can be pre booked online or at the entrance. Each child gets to take home their own edible potion which Olive barely touched as she was too frightened she would actually turn into an adult! *bless* The Spooky Seas experience ends on Monday 31st October.

We also picked up 2 Dive Logbooks and made our way around the park. I love watching the girls mesmerised by wildlife especially the large turtles and stingray swimming under the viewing tunnel. We managed to hear the shark and penguin talks always an eye opening experience, we humans take so much of the planet for granted.

It would appear that the starfish and jellyfish were also in the Halloween spooky seas mood!

After Finding Nemo AND Dory we ended our girly day our beach combing and eating chips on the beach. Perfectly perfect.
