Gangsta Granny Live | Lighthouse Poole

If you like Horrible Histories you are going to LOVE Gangsta Granny.

From the acclaimed producers of HORRIBLE HISTORIES comes this amazing story by David Walliams (Who's on Britain's Got Talent new discovery for Charlie and Megan!)

Megan is a massive David Walliams fan and has read most of the books she re-read the book in preparation for the show. Charlie on the other hand has watched most of the films and that was his Walliams prep.

Friday night and Ben knows that means only one thing – staying with Granny! There will be cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake and Ben knows one thing for sure – it’s going to be sooooooooo boring! But what Ben doesn’t know is that Granny has a secret – and Friday nights are about to get more exciting than he could ever imagine, as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime with his very own Gangsta Granny!

Megan (8) : The Granny was funny.

I liked it when something Ben didn't like it all went red and Ben said “NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I had strawberry ice cream in the interval and it was yummy. I liked the book more it's funny how they show you how to fake brush your teeth. I didn't like the way they changed the scene.

Charlie (10) : I liked the way they changed the scenery. I like the actors they were really good. It was funny when they were in the sewers. I haven't read the book but I want to now. I think David Walliams is very funny.

Gangsta Granny

I really enjoyed the way in which the scenes changed it was really cleverly done, meaning there was little equipment bought onto stage as it was all hidden in the two sets, which folded away. I thought the dancing in between was really funny and kept the Strictly Dancing theme running throughout. I must admit I shed a few tears at the end, the way they did the ending was really well executed.

I really didn't want the show to end! Thank you Lighthouse Poole for another amazing show!
