Getting around UK attractions | Days out with kids

The summer holidays are mere days away now and as I attempt to juggle full time parenting with running a small business I'm always looking for days out. I love the summer holidays, I enjoy a break from working which is good for the soul and brain, there's no routine and we can be free to wake, eat, sleep when we want. I love seeing the kids snoozing, worn out and dirty rather than having to go to bed just because they have school in the morning.

We love days out too, love exploring our local area or going to major UK attractions. Being a parent of 3 though summer holidays can be an expensive experience. I spend a lot of time looking for places that offer family discounts as 1 adult, 3 children, groupon site deals and where I can make savings using their Blue Peter badge. Getting a Blue Peter badge is super easy and can save you loads of money on days out as the child with the badge gets in free. However there are many parents who will be sorting which UK attractions to visit depending on how accessible they will be for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Mobilty Nationwide  have produced a super infographic which details some UK attractions which are accessible for the less able. I love that so many mountains accommodate wheelchair access allowing everyone to take in the stunning views we are so lucky to have in the UK. Daddy Moo, Charlie and I are planning to climb Snowdon this summer and I can't wait to see the breath-taking views. I'm hoping to climb to the top and back again but it's handy to know there is a train down should I need it.

We are visiting London Zoo this summer, like many London attractions is housed in a listed building. Listed buildings come with a whole host of issues so it's great to see that they have made strives in being accessible to all.
