I haven't had chance to blog for a while, or clean my house either!
I have spent the week on a course with the Prince's Trust on their very new Business Programme.  The Business Programme helps people to explore and test their business ideas, write business plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative goals in education, training or work. Now your possibly wondering why I went on this.  But before I go any further this training was all FREE! So give me one good reason why anyone wouldn't!
Here's a quick list of what we did :-
  • Advice on employment options
  • Business skills training
  • Business planning support
  • Chance to apply for Start up funding
  • Ongoing support from a mentor
  • Access to a wide range of free and discounted products and services. This includeds a free legal helpline, sponsored by Barclays
It was a very intense 4 days and my brain worked alot harder than it has in a while! But it was amazing!  Not only did I meet 6 fabulously talented people but we also had such a great team of trainers (no I'm not on commission!).  It really was a great experince and I would advice others under 30 to go and give the course a whirl.

On Friday I met my mentor and am very excited about the prospects that someone with Business experince is going to be able to offer me and help develop Charlie Moo's.  So now my brain is recovering before I get going on my action plan.

**** Networking Mummies (Dorset) raised £184.50 for Meningitis Trust during the Toddle Waddle! Well done to all the little ones as it was a long old walk! ****

The Princes trust sounds amazing. Its something im seriously considering doing, especially now you've given a little taster! I believe the local one is based in Wimborne? Is that right?

And congrats on the Toddle Waddle :D
