I havent blogged for ages as I have been really busy with my other project Networking Mummies (Dorset), which I run with my partner in crime and an equally amazing business mummy Laura Morris (www.rentabuggy.co.uk).  After our successful Mums in Business Exhibition in October westarted thinking about our next plans .. we stil wanted to keep to the idea of providing business mums with advice which worked around our children.  So the FREE events are still available, 2 per month, one for the children and one a business seminar/speaker session as these have proved very popular over the last year.  But we decided to branch out into a 6 bigger events throughout the year open to any small businesses. 

 

However Laura and I never take on anything small no way! If your going to do something go LARGE! Our first big event in 2010 is our Speed Networking Event which takes place on the 27th January at the Village Hotel all the deatils are on our website.  We also have our 'In the Pink' Fashion Show being orgainsed for the 21st March 2010 raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer. 

 

We also expanded our group and took on a Hampshire Branch which is being run by Jo Gleeson and aided by Debs Jones. Laura and I appeared on BBC Radio Solent again on the 1st November 2009 chatting about Networking Mummies (Dorset) and having a look through the newspapers.

 

Networking Mummies (Hampshire) had their first 2 coffee mornings last week too so Moo, Megan and I were busy with that!  Then to top off the week .. Laura and I went to Oxford to meet Jane Hopkins and Sam Thewlis to discuss some joint ventures with Mumsclub the brains behind the National Business Mums Week.  So watch this space for more on that!!
