Happy MOO Year!Posted on Tuesday Jan 5 9:04:00 GMT 2010 So it's day 5 now already of 2010! This year I promise to blog atleast once a week!! I know you don't believe me but I'll try!!
Lots of blogs i read have been doing a run down of the last decade and what they have been upto. Don't worry I'm not going to do this .... I turned 20 in the year 2000 and spent the whole of the last decade chasing something that didn't quite exist. Before I had my children I had worked my way from Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager ... I role I was really proud of. But did the long hours and rubbish wages really make me happy? No.
In 2001 (yes 2001) I met Daddy Moo - we spent much of the first 4 years tooing and froing.
Then in 2007 Charlie Moo arrived quickly followed in 2008 by Megan.
Charlie Moo and Daddy - lots of sleeping in the early months if only we had known!! My Beuatiful Megan - although she now has the biggest mop of ginger curls she still looks just like this! Although far noiser!!I never struggled to be a mother .. I think this is the role I most relish in. I never intended to be a business woman .. I just needed to get my brain re-engaged and have a greater feeling of selfworth. It's a funny feeling in this life that I have always strived to make people proud and feel proud of myself and yet it has taken me two nearly three years to realise the greatest achievement happened twice and I let it pass me by.
As I write this in my jammies - Megan is laying on the sofa reading a book with her big fat pot belly hanging over her lilac jammie bottoms. Moo is wearing his new dressing gown as a cape as he runs around the living room pretending to catch fish with a piece of train track and I feel like the richest woman in the world.
So what does 2010 hold in store for us .... well Charlie Moo will be 3 years old, Megan 2, Daddy Moo 29 and Me - I'm the big 3 0!!!
Business wise well I have 4 goals
To be honest I'll be glad to see the back of 2009 - my main goal this year is to wake up everyday with a smile on my face!! With Moo, Megan and Daddy ... I don't really need anything else!
Happy MOO Year to everyone. |
