  1. My fashion style is well not really a style just chuck it on and hope for the best. Most things are grabbed in the supermarket whilst buying beans and chicken breasts and then they all languish in the same trolley making me feel super chic and sophisticated. No I really do!

JOY is mainly known for their gorgeous and unique dresses but they also have a superb collection of tops. I normally go for something that hides my mum tum but I absolutely love things a little quirky and the Valley of the Dolls Mexican Print T-Shirt is just that. The first time I wore it Megan couldn't stop laughing at the cactus and sombreros, which is rude as I never laughed at her leggings that made a cat face. I totally love the soft stretch jersey style of this top with cap sleeves and a round neck. It looks great with jeans and a perfect staple as it can worn under cardies or by itself. Plus I've washed it a few times and it hasn't lost it's shape #winning

With a great range of funky, quirky, unique and excellently priced clothing I am a JOY convert with free delivery over £50. Plus you can save a few pennies buying through TopCashBack JOY is where I'll be buying my clothes in future. They also have an excellent homeware and gift section too! I know a mini Tim Peake who would love the NASA crew mug!

  2. I know many people who attended Hotter shoe events and say they are converts but I really am. I've bought 3 various pairs over the passed two years myself, not to review but purely because I love them! Not only are we an active family but in my old age I've realised that I want my feet to be comfy as well as stylish. When it comes to comfort Hotter certainly tick all the boxes with their secret Comfort Concept. Using super soft leathers each shoe is lightweight, cushioning, flexible and breathable so what better way to test them out than on a walking tour of Bournemouth.

    bournemouth blue plaque

Bournemouth is utterly steeped in history and there are so many buildings proudly displaying Blue Plaques. You can go on the self guided walking tour yourself the full details are on Hotter's Blog :

We were lucky enough to have the tour guide herself Hattie Miles show us around and here are a few notable points.

     house of fraser

    • The superb piece of stained glass window situated in the back of Essential One. I even took the children to see it this week!

    • You can't really enjoy the beauty of Bournemouth unless you look up. All the decorative art deco and Edwardian features are lost if you are looking at shop level.
    • Beales was the first department store in England to have a live Father Christmas. Fact.

    • Mary Shelley never actually got to live in the house her son was building her although her body is buried in St Peter's Church. Her story is all a bit gruesome perfect for Halloween!

    st peters church

    • Giggi's Gelataria is a hidden gem!

    • The Daily Echo building is listed and therefore has no other purpose than being a newspaper office.

I really enjoyed this walk, Bournemouth is such an interesting city. I also had super comfy feet wearing plum coloured lace up Leanne's. Olive has been horse riding now for nearly a year and I'm just not ready to start wearing tweed and wellies (although I know Olive is!). I needed a comfortable trainer, that was easy to clean and still looked cool and I think Hotter managed to accomplish that. If you are jealous of my footwear and who wouldn't be the lovely guys have given me a £10 off code details below.
